Data sources

bourva's real, delayed data comes from reputable free public sources. This page lists them and explains what each one powers. All data is delayed and provided for reference — see Methodology for how we label it.

Currencies (FX)

Exchange rates are sourced from European Central Bank reference rates via the Frankfurter API. Delayed (published once per business day).

Cryptocurrencies

Crypto prices and 24-hour changes are sourced from CoinGecko. Delayed.

Energy & natural gas

Crude oil (WTI, Brent) and Henry Hub natural gas come from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) open data. Delayed / end-of-day.

US stocks & metals

Prices for a set of large-cap US stocks, plus gold and silver, come from Twelve Data. Delayed.

Indices (via tracking ETFs)

Official index levels (S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Dow Jones, etc.) are licensed products with no free real-time feed. Where shown as live, we display the delayed quote of the ETF that tracks the index (e.g. SPY for the S&P 500) — clearly labelled as an ETF proxy, never as the official index level. The ETF's daily % change is a faithful indicative signal of the index's move.

Commodities

Agricultural and industrial commodity series come from the U.S. EIA and Alpha Vantage. Delayed, refreshed daily.

What is still sample

Per-ticker equity fundamentals (dividends, financials, forecasts, splits) and most non-flagship per-instrument prices are currently illustrative sample data, pending licensed feeds. These pages are badged 'sample'. We are actively expanding real delayed coverage.

Attribution & licensing

We use each provider within its terms and present all figures as delayed. Trademarks, index names and data belong to their respective owners. Nothing here is real-time market data or investment advice.

bourva provides delayed and sample market data and analysis for local and global exchanges. All figures are illustrative and may differ from official sources. Not investment advice.
